The competency profiles being developed for health care professionals have anywhere from several hundred to several thousand competencies each.

The number of practitioners involved in continuing competence programs range from 50 to over 20,000.

The data generated annually by each component of the continuing competence program is huge.

Most professional Colleges/Associations find it too costly and physically impossible to capture, manage, analyze and report competency data manually.

Collection of this competency data must also be translated into usable information.
